CTO will provide technical leadership, guide product architecture and development
Corsa Security, leaders in scaling network security, today announced the appointment of Tom Ku as Chief Technology Officer. Ku will provide technical leadership as the company continues to revolutionize network security for large networks. With extensive experience in mobile and cloud technology, Ku is ideally suited to successfully guide the Corsa Security product architecture and development as we continue to deliver new innovations for automating firewall virtualization.
“We are excited to have Tom join Corsa Security as CTO,” says Eduardo Cervantes, CEO of Corsa Security. “He’s a seasoned professional who will bring the strategic technical direction required to expand our product and help us reach the next level in our company growth. In particular, his expertise in cloud technology will be invaluable to us as we hone our turnkey network security virtualization platform.”
Ku joins Corsa Security from his role as co-founder and CEO of Magnet Beauty where he launched and managed a new generation of eCommerce Conversation Cloud for the multi-billion-dollar beauty industry. Ku has also founded two software technology start-ups and worked as Managing Partner at MaxVal Technology Partners, providing product direction and oversight of mobile and cloud technology investments. In addition to his B. Sc., Ku holds an MA in Marketing and an MBA in International Marketing.
“I’m delighted to join Corsa Security,” says Tom Ku. “We’re disrupting the network security market with our pioneering approach to automation and virtualization of network firewalls. But it doesn’t stop there; we’ve built our platform on a SASE framework so that we can extend to other deployment scenarios and security services. That’s what I’m looking forward to; solving the challenges of scaling multiple security functions for our customers to increase their business agility.”
