DP2200 is your gateway into 100G SDN WAN, metro and campus edge networks
The DP2200 offers 200G non-blocking throughput for SDN switching and routing. As with all DP2000 series products, it has all the WAN-and metro edge performance, flexibility and scale needed for serious network deployments. With capacity for over a million flows, multiple match-action tables, deep packet buffers, and fast flow mods per sec, it is designed to handle WAN and metro edge scale.
For NFV and on-demand service offerings, the platform brings new levels of programmatic flexibility with true network hardware virtualization that supports multiple virtual forwarding contexts (VFCs) within the same physical hardware. Each packet is processed with full awareness of which virtual switch instance it belong to. This level of virtualization is not limited to segmenting the hardware by physical ports, or other resources, but in fact allows an administrator to truly virtualize the whole platform into multiple virtual switch instances that share the same hardware platform, operate with line-rate performance and yet are prevented from interfering with one another.
Corsa understands that different customers require open programming interfaces for the network at different layers, depending on their requirements. Open programmability is at the core of our products, and why we enable programmable interfaces at all layers. For top-down programmability, it is possible to use any form of open programmatic access such as ODL, RYU, REST APIs, Quagga, ONOS, Atrium, SDN-IP, or Faucet among others. For instance, network operators have the ability to control physical and logical interfaces using RESTful APIs or apply the most complex OpenFlow matches and actions to control both physical ports and logical ports without requiring different firmware for each network application. This continues the Corsa commitment to a fully open and programmable platform.
Inside the box, the hardware is architected with Programmable Processing Units, powerful search engines, DDR3 memory, and best in class ASIC based fabrics. These elements are combined to ensure line-rate per flow forwarding, tapping and statistics. They also enable SDN traffic management at any speed, with a dynamic programmable Two-Rate, Three-Color Meter table with 8 queues per port which means it’s possible to isolate and shape traffic down to the precise flow.
Easily integrating with OSS/BSS frameworks, the solution offers new levels of flow visibility and top-down programmability to enable innovative service offerings, better service level assurance and network management.
